Events Bay Area Poodle Rescue

Just what is a Poodle Romp? This is an event where BAPR volunteers get an opportunity to meet and greet the public at Point Isabel Dog Park in Richmond. We re-unite with adopted dogs and their new owners, show off our poodles who are ready for adoption, meet with prospective adopting families, and schmooze with other dog owners. It is quite a spectacle seeing wonderfully silly poodles bouncing around the park. A fun time for poodles and people.

The Poodle Romps for 2012 are Sunday May 27th, and Sunday September 30th, They are at Point Isabel Dog Park in Richmond, CA, starting at 11am. We meet at the area near Mudpuppy's.

Fourth Annual East Bay SPCA Adopt-a-thon, Sunday July 22, 2012, 10:00 to 3:00 in Jack London Square, Oakland. New this year, vendors are also invited. Come by our booth!

Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation's Eleventh Annual Animals on Broadway at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek May 15, 2011. There will be other rescue groups, food booths, dog washing stations, an events stage and great shopping. There is a Wellness Fair with low cost vaccinations, DNA testing, micro-chipping, nail clipping, massage etc. Don't miss the police K9 demostrations or have your dog washed by ARF volunteers. Stop by our booth!

The Bay Area Pet Fair and Adoptathon is BACK! Pet Food Express is hosting this event and its going to be bigger and better than ever before! The dates for the 2011 Bay Area Pet Fair are September 10 & 11. Same location: The Marin Center in San Rafael, CA. Be sure to stop back and get more information as we receive it!!

Our 2012 Holiday Brunch and Fundraiser will be on Sunday, December 2nd at the Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville, CA. We will have a raffle and silent auction in addition to a delicious buffet brunch.
